Where Art
Meets You

The Hilliard Art Museum of the University of Louisiana, Lafayette is a place to reflect, learn, create, and connect. It is a place where art creates a rich dialogue between the culture of Acadiana and the world.

Colorful, fluffy, fur-like sculptures hang from the ceiling in a gallery space with wooden floors and white walls, creating a vibrant and playful art installation.

On View

Our current exhibitions examine our connection to the natural world across painting, works on paper, mixed-media installation, and sculpture.

Three classical female statues stand in front of a colorful, abstract clock face. Birds, butterflies, and a soft burst of yellow, orange, and red blend in the background, creating a surreal and dreamlike scene.

Spring Awake

Join us for Spring Awake, a season of exhibitions and programming examining the legacy of the Pop Art movement and its continued reverberations in contemporary visual culture.
