Hilliard Fête

Join us for a day immersed in art and wellness at this season’s Hilliard Fête presented by Ochsner Lafayette General. Starting at 10 a.m., the museum comes alive with morning artmaking for young art enthusiasts inspired by our new exhibitions, inviting curiosity and play at every turn. As midday unfolds, enjoy food trucks and live music on the Hilliard lawn. New for this year’s Fête is an afternoon of collage artmaking for adults plus a guided tour of the museum’s current Spring Awake exhibitions including Pop Art legend Andy Warhol and contemporary artist Rachel Libeskind.
- 10 a.m. All-day art making stations open, including collage making, community mural by Hannah Gumbo, art scavenger hunt, sidewalk chalk graffiti, screen printing, metal working and more.
- Noon-1:30 p.m. Lunch on the lawn with live music by the Holiday Playgirls and food trucks including Tasty Coffee, Herby Eats and more.
- 1:30 p.m. Guided tour of current exhibitions
- 2-3 p.m. Museum Makers: Collage Art, for all skill levels
- Full entertainment and culinary offerings to be announced.

Members, UL students, faculty and staff, and children under 10 are always free.
Public entry with museum admission.
