Photography Policy

The Hilliard Art Museum grounds are available to the public as a beautiful backdrop for photographers. Please read our policies regarding photography, pricing, and scheduling.

• Outdoor photography hours are 6 a.am – 10 p.m. daily, including weekends
• Photography must be scheduled and paid online in advance of the photo session. 
• A maximum of 2 cars per paid photo shoot are allowed in the Hilliard parking area.  
• All vehicles left in the Hilliard parking lot for more than 2 hours will be ticketed and towed away at the owner’s expense.  
• If the owner leaves the Hilliard property, cars left in the Hilliard lot are subject to towing at the owner’s expense. 
• On-site security, 24-hour video monitoring by ULPD enforces parking and photography. 

• No professional photography is allowed inside the Hilliard Art Museum without the express consent of the museum. Personal photography, such as with a smartphone, is permitted inside during regular guest visits, without the use of flash.
• No confetti, glitter, champagne, or carbonated beverages, or smash cakes are allowed on paved areas.
• Please do not attempt to climb inside the Water Wall.
• The upstairs porch of the A Hays Town Building is not available for photography.

• $25 / hour for outdoor photography
• $50 / hour (two-hour minimum) for the A. Hays Town Building interior from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. 
• Each paid booking includes a maximum of 2 parking spaces in the Hilliard’s parking area. 
• Individual photography (non-professional) is permissible outdoors on the plaza with paid museum admission. Please use the discount code “NONPRO10” during checkout. 
• $10/per person for group pricing (i.e. Proms, Homecomings, & Sorority/Fraternity)
  Large group parking reservations are not available. 
• Photography pricing does not include access to the Alumni Center. 
• Prices are subject to change.
