Le Salon

September 23 • 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Two women play flutes side by side in front of music stands, with a piano behind them and a blurred audience in the foreground. A framed portrait of a seated man hangs on the wall in the background.

We’re thrilled to open this season of Le Salon on September 23, 2025, with a dynamic evening of interdisciplinary connection celebrated through music. Join us at 6:30 p.m. for wine and refreshments, followed by the music program at 7:00 p.m. The evening will showcase fresh and modern music, featuring works created for contemporary acoustic duos, as well as innovative pieces that blend digital sound.

The performance will highlight the incredible talents of Kelly Ann Bixby, Yuling Huang-Davie, Siying He, Brett Landry, Brianne Little, Catherine Roche-Wallace, and Benjamin Yates.

The featured speaker will be Professor Adam Feld from the Department of Industrial Design. His department prepares students who “have the ability and passion to make a positive contribution to the betterment of humankind through teaching, research, practice, and service.” With that mission at its heart, Professor Feld’s perspective promises to be both engaging and thought-provoking.
