SUMMARY:Yoga in the Galleries
DESCRIPTION:The Hilliard Art Museum invites you to join us on the first Saturday of each month at 11 a.m. for a yoga class in our galleries with certified instructor Neil Gresham. Beginners and regular practitioners are welcome. Yoga is free with museum admission ($10 for non-members\, free for members and UL faculty\, staff\, and students). Please bring your own yoga mat. Space is limited to the first twenty-five participants on a first-come\, first-served basis. No registration is required.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for our latest Artist Talk\, drawing on the multidisciplinary exhibition Gulf Streams: Atchafalaya Remixed\, plus a celebration on the plaza featuring live music by Palmetto\, a Trey Boudreaux experimental music project.\n  \nArtist Talk\nThis program brings together a musician\, artist\, and folklorist whose practices are each rooted in regional fieldwork – listening to\, documenting\, and remixing the world around them.  \nThough their fields differ\, each panelist leans into listening as a way of understanding place.
